Job Title: Technical Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at Pluralsight. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and leadership to a team of engineers, driving strong Agile delivery practices, and working closely with the Product team to understand and analyze business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive strong Agile delivery practices, with a focus on lean and systems thinking.
  • Work with 2-3 engineers to design and propose architecture as per requirements.
  • Work with the Product team to understand and analyze business requirements to design and implement technical solutions.
  • Identify key results and standard methodologies where Pluralsight's products can play an important role and move the needle on all fronts.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Expertise in NodeJS, TypeScript, ReactJS.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Extensive experience designing and developing APIs (REST, GraphQL and integrating with third-party APIs).
  • In-depth knowledge of microservice architecture and experience in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with database technologies, both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
