Land Management Specialist

About the Role:

This position is responsible for overseeing land operations and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, land titles, and possession documents.
  • Coordinate lease renewals and negotiations with landowners, ensuring timely payments.
  • Serve as a liaison between landowners and local communities, fostering strong relationships.
  • Liaise with local authorities to manage land records, tax payments, and statutory obligations.
  • Collaborate with O&M teams to resolve issues related to access roads, transmission lines, and internal movement within sites.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with land, such as encroachments, litigation, or non-compliance with local laws.
  • Evaluate compliance with local land regulations, zoning laws, and environmental norms affecting land use.
  • Support audits and due diligence processes by providing updated land documentation and reports.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, or environmental science.
  • Proven experience in land management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
