Application Packaging Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Application Packaging Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for packaging applications, ensuring seamless deployment and integration with our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer requirements for application packaging
  • Migrate applications from Windows 7/8 to 10
  • Develop expertise in Admin Studio/Install shield
  • Proficient in VB/WMI scripting, Batch Scripting, PowerShell scripting & PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit
  • Well-versed in application testing and remediation techniques
  • Expertise in VMware Workstation/ Oracle Virtual Box
  • Knowledge of creating/repackaging applications using various tools
  • Sound knowledge of Windows Installer Technologies - MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, Standard Actions
  • Expertise in Application Virtualization Technologies, App-V 4.6, 5.0
  • Troubleshooting using various tools like FileMon/RegMon, PictureTaker etc.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of application packaging concepts
  • Excellent technical skills in scripting languages
  • Experience with VMware Workstation/Oracle Virtual Box
  • Knowledge of Windows Installer Technologies
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
