Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on communications leader to drive PR, brand reputation, and corporate visibility in the Indian market.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing and leading corporate communication and brand positioning strategies for emerging markets.
About This Role

This role requires both strategy and execution, with a focus on building trust and awareness in a regulated, high-growth sector. As AGM/GM – PR, Brand & Communications, you will shape how the company is perceived by media, industry stakeholders, regulators, merchants, and consumers.

You'll lead external communication through earned media, thought leadership, branded IPs, sponsorships, and online reputation management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and Lead Corporate Communication Strategy: Develop and lead Pay10's corporate communication and brand positioning strategy for the Indian market.
  • Define and Maintain Brand Identity: Define and maintain a consistent brand identity, voice, and messaging framework across all touchpoints such as the website, social media, media, employee communication, etc.
  • Drive Reputation Management: Drive reputation management efforts with a balance of storytelling, credibility, and compliance.
  • Build Relationships: Build and manage strong relationships with India's top-tier business, technology, and fintech media.
  • Manage CXO Positioning: Manage CXO positioning through industry commentary, interviews, and speaker engagements.
  • Lead ORM: Lead ORM across platforms (Google, review sites, news portals, forums) using monitoring and sentiment tools.
  • Conceptualize Branded Content: Conceptualize and launch branded content series and thought leadership platforms (e.g. webinars, founder journals, ecosystem reports).
  • Manage End-to-End Execution: Manage end-to-end execution, performance measurement, and partner coordination.
  • Oversee Development: Oversee development of key brand assets—press kits, media FAQs, brand decks, speeches, product FAQs, and regulatory messaging.
  • Crisis Communication Planning: Contribute to crisis communication planning and response.
  • Internal Communications: Develop and manage internal communications, and employer brand value proposition externally with HR.
Requirements and Qualifications

This role requires an experienced communications professional with a proven track record in driving PR, brand reputation, and corporate visibility in the Indian market. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of corporate communication, brand positioning, and reputation management principles.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role is required, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
