Deputy Manager HR Job Description

This role is a critical component of our organization's people initiatives, providing full cycle Human Resources support. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing business strategies through effective talent management and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic insights to drive business growth and implementation of organization structure and manpower plans that cater to business needs.
  • Develop and implement behavioral and functional trainings and programs at Business/Functional level to ensure capability development needs are met.
  • Implement talent management processes at the business/functional level to identify and develop high-potential talent.
  • Lead performance management activities at the business level to ensure adherence with organization-wide PMS guidelines and timelines.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding to ensure timely availability of manpower in accordance with business/function requirements.
  • Oversee total rewards and recognition systems for the business/function through streamlined implementation and administration of processes.
  • Maintain employee engagement and motivation by partnering with business leaders and other functions.
  • Support implementation of technology-enabled solutions and systems in respective business units.
  • Manage critical employee and HR management aspects such as communications, employee exit, personal data, and grievance redressal.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field from a reputable institution.
  • Proven skills in operations and basic software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Specific knowledge and experience of human resource theory, functions, and practice.
  • Ability to use initiative in carrying out tasks and prioritize workload to meet short timelines.
