UAV Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

\

We are seeking a UAV Compliance Specialist to lead certification and compliance activities for unmanned aerial systems in civil and defense sectors.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Develop and implement certification and compliance strategies for DGCA Type Certification, CEMILAC, FAA, EASA, Green & Blue UAS, and third-party laboratory tests.\
  • Analyze and interpret National and International regulations regarding certification and compliance requirements of UAVs.\
  • Collaborate with Product management, V&V, E&E, SW, Design and Development, Prototype, production, Certification bodies, DGCA, QCI, BIS, DFI, AUVSI, CEMILAC, and external test laboratories.\
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.\
  • Develop project plans, negotiate risks, and initiate mitigation plans.\
  • Communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing.\
  • Travel to and work with external agencies as required.\
  • Work with internal stakeholders to generate requirement proposals and execution plans.\
  • Study and understand tender documents, scheme documents, compliance standards, drone rules, and generate test requirements proposals.\
  • Ensure correct TC documentation, test executions, TC audits, and cooperation with CB for expeditious releases of SoCs.\
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders like CB / ATE, DGCA, and QCI to understand product environment and compliances.\
  • Timely study of regulatory drafts and feedbacks in the interest of the organization.\
  • Create and maintain certification roadmaps in cooperation with Product management.\
  • Plan and execute periodic internal audits to identify and analyze compliance risks and implement mitigation measures.\

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.\
    • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Technical Compliances, with at least 5 years in the UAV industry.\
    • Exceptional understanding and hands-on experience working with regulatory frameworks - National/International.\
    • Proven experience with product testing, process analysis, and certification activities.\
