Job Overview

The Advanced Avionics Systems Engineer will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced avionics systems for aircraft. This position requires expertise in avionics engineering and systems integration, as well as knowledge of DO178, ARP 4754, and ARP 4761 standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of advanced avionics systems for aircraft, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and certification of advanced avionics systems, driving innovation and excellence throughout the process.
  • Conduct system-level analysis and optimization to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest avionics technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and growth.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with a strong foundation in mathematics and science.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in avionics engineering or related roles, with a proven track record of success and achievement.
  • Strong knowledge of avionics systems and design principles, including DO178, ARP 4754, and ARP 4761 standards.
  • Proficiency in avionics simulation and analysis tools, with the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world problems.
  • Experience with avionics integration and certification processes, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading practices and methodologies, with the ability to adapt and apply them to different contexts.
