Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Compliance Specialist to spearhead our homologation process and ensure regulatory compliance for our retrofit emission control device and automotive-related products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving all homologation-related activities, including both technical and non-technical aspects, and leading a high-performing team to achieve project goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Homologation Strategies: Create and implement powerful and enhanced homologation strategies and roadmaps for our retrofit emission control device and automotive-related products.
  • Manage Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with test agencies and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Lead the Team: Provide leadership and guidance to the homologation team, ensuring effective execution of homologation strategies and meeting project timelines.
  • Monitor and Report: Monitor and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Full Ownership: Take full ownership of homologation-related projects in the company.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster a culture of process-driven ideas across the engineering team, encouraging cross-functional teamwork and open communication.
  • Ambiguity Management: Work effectively in ambiguity while ensuring the team remains focused and motivated.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Engineering Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Homologation Experience: At least 3 years of experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
