We are seeking a highly skilled Business Compliance Specialist to join our team in the USA. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for assisting clients with business formation and registration processes, ensuring timely completion and filing of annual reports, franchise taxes, and other recurring compliance obligations.
Our ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US federal and state compliance requirements and experience in handling administrative and regulatory processes for US-based entities. You will work closely with clients to provide advisory and consulting services regarding compliance requirements, regulatory changes, and best practices for business compliance in the US.
- Assist clients with business entity formations, including LLCs, corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietorships.
- Manage federal business registrations, including obtaining Employer Identification Numbers (EIN), IRS filings, and compliance.
- Conduct state-specific registrations, including sales tax, withholding tax, unemployment insurance, workers' compensation, and other state-required filings.
- Set up and manage payroll registrations and compliance for US-based companies across multiple states.
As a Business Compliance Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice on compliance requirements and regulatory changes.
- Ensuring accurate and timely completion of annual reports, franchise taxes, and other recurring compliance obligations.
- Liaising with state and federal regulatory authorities to ensure accurate and timely compliance.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Legal Studies, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience managing US federal, state, and local compliance and business registrations.
- Prior experience in a similar role within accounting, consulting, or business advisory firms preferred.
This is a remote/hybrid working opportunity, aligned with US business hours. You will have the flexibility to work from home and occasionally liaise directly with US-based regulatory agencies.
