Lead Data Scientist

We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to spearhead data-driven projects, conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis, and develop & deploy scalable machine learning models. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python, generative AI (GenAI), and machine learning deployment frameworks, with a solid understanding of the life sciences domain.
The successful candidate will have around 8-10 years of experience in leading:
~ Design and development of advanced ML and Generative AI models
~ End-to-end data science projects from data preparation to deployment
~ Mentorship and guidance of junior data scientists in technical delivery
~ Partnership with stakeholders to translate business needs into AI solutions
~ Ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of deployed models
~ Staying up-to-date with GenAI advancements and evaluating adoption for the organization
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn). They will also have deep expertise in NLP, LLM fine-tuning, transformers, and GenAI frameworks. Additionally, they should have experience with MLOps, model deployment, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, feature engineering, and large-scale data handling. Experience with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and orchestration tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex) is highly desirable.
