Marine Structures Specialist

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to lead marine structure design, analysis, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in coastal and marine engineering principles, along with extensive experience in designing and analyzing marine infrastructure.
  • The successful applicant will possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams and ensure timely delivery of marine structures.
  • A deep understanding of coastal processes, including hydrodynamics, wave modeling, and sediment transport is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, planning, and construction of marine infrastructure, including breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, and docks.
  • Provide expert technical guidance on coastal and marine engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure.
  • Conduct advanced structural and geotechnical assessments to ensure the long-term durability and stability of marine structures under varying tidal and wave conditions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful execution of marine construction works, minimizing impacts on the coastal ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in marine structures design, construction, and project execution.
  • Post Graduate degree in Marine Structures or equivalent, with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in coastal or marine construction, working on breakwater systems, jetties, seawalls, and other port infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in marine engineering software for designing and simulating coastal and marine structures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering), M.Tech or M.Sc. (Marine Structures).
  • Experience in working on port development projects or coastal infrastructure projects in Kerala or similar coastal regions.
