The Role of Cold Zone Finishing Specialist

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the operations and quality control activities in the cold finishing section. This includes ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and standards.

This specialist will utilize their analytical skills to identify areas for improvement in the cold zone finishing process, implementing changes as necessary to increase efficiency and productivity.

In addition, they will ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and rectify any potential issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cold finishing process, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to established procedures.
  • Quality Control: Implement effective quality control measures to ensure product quality compliance.
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Analytics and Process Improvement: Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in the DI-Ductile Iron Pipe Industry. Additionally, you should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

A diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in the industry.
