Required Qualifications and Skills

  • An advanced degree in climate science, environmental studies, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in climate adaptation, resilience planning, or a related field, preferably in developing country contexts, is necessary.
  • Demonstrated involvement in developing or updating Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), Low Emission Development Strategies (LEDS), or National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) is essential.
  • Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments and translating findings into actionable strategies is critical.
  • Experience working with climate models and interpreting risk projections, as well as strong analytical and communication skills, is required.
