Highly Skilled Technical Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our team as an Engineer II. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to all areas of development and operations, from pre-production to production.
Your primary focus will be on bringing a high level of technical knowledge and ability to share that expertise with your colleagues. You will work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions and participate in Agile ceremonies.
As part of our day-to-day production release team, you may perform on-call support functions as needed. Your responsibilities will include conducting research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts, participating in the Engineering Community of Practice, and contributing to engineering automation, management, or development of production-level systems.
You will also contribute to project engineering design and standards verification, perform reliability monitoring and support as needed, and actively monitor key metrics and report on trends.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A completed bachelor's degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Software Architecture
- 7-8 years of engineering experience
- Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD principles and best practices
- Strong SQL skills, including any RDBMS, with Snowflake being preferable
- ETL experience, Python programming, and experience building data pipelines
- AWS knowledge or experience with other cloud platforms like GCP or Azure
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools like Jira and Confluence
