Key Responsibilities

As a SAP Cloud BASIS Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Administering SAP Solution Manager, SAP BASIS ABAP system administration, performance/workload analysis, and HANA database administration.
  • Supporting SAP Business Technology Platform administration and management.
  • Maintaining SAP systems, including upgrades, system copies, and kernel updates.
  • Providing technical guidance to customers on SAP cloud solutions and services.
  • Deploying business content.
  • Performing general SAP system administration and tuning.
  • Resolving SAP BASIS issues through to completion.
  • Identifying and resolving root causes of issues.
  • Sizing and managing transports.
  • Experience with SAP on Cloud in a hyperscaler environment (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) is preferred.
  • Working in a global DevOps environment to support and collaborate with technical and functional teams.

Requirements

For this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of BASIS administration.
  • 2-5 years of experience in SAP system administration or hands-on consulting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment with flexibility and adaptability.

Technical Requirements

For this role, you will need:

  • Core experience in SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, and SAP Solution Manager.
  • Preferred experience in SAP Business Technology Platform administration and SAP Role build.
  • Core experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP knowledge or infrastructure requirements for SAP, SAP technical security (SSO, SSL setup).
