About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our team in Bangalore. As a key member of our S/4HANA Service Engineering & Delivery department, you will be responsible for the complete life cycle management of SAP's S/4HANA Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of activities within defined SLAs for the customer/internal landscapes.
  • Perform sound knowledge of BASIS activities like Client Administration, System Refresh/Copy, and application update/upgrade.
  • Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network.
  • Hands-On knowledge on HANA db administration.
  • Knowledge on handling ABAP/HANA performance issues & Root cause Analysis.
  • Knowledge on working on Cloud Environment is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge on working on Linux.
  • Basic understanding & working knowledge of scripting is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge on SPC and TIC Tools will be added advantage.
  • SAP Web-dispatcher & Load balancer functionality experience.

Requirements

  • 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in Basis & HANA DB Administration along with SAP NetWeaver Technology.
  • Exposure to ITIL/ITSM processes, ITIL certification preferred.
  • Strong Communication and Coordination skills.
  • Understanding of SaaS and Cloud offerings or products, and related processes is an advantage.
  • Holistic understanding of SAP Basis, HANA, Linux OS, Virtualization and other Infrastructure areas like Storage and Network.
  • May be required to work on weekends, off-hours.
