Operations Lead

This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our business through strategic operations management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire loan lifecycle, from application to disbursal and servicing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loan Operations Management
    • Implement and configure Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS)
    • Manage the entire loan life cycle: application intake, document verification, KYC/C-KYC checks, underwriting coordination, and disbursal to post-disbursal servicing
    • Liaise with credit, legal, compliance, and technology teams for smooth processing
    • Define and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with RBI guidelines and industry best practices
  • Disbursement & Repayment
    • Ensure timely and accurate loan disbursals via IMPS/NEFT/RTGS and integrated banking channels/payment gateways
    • Monitor and manage repayments through NACH, UPI, and digital platforms
    • Coordinate with the finance team for fund movement tracking and ledger entries
  • Vendor & Partner Management
    • Manage key vendor relationships, including LMS providers, KYC partners, collection agencies, and payment gateways
    • Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs), track performance, and ensure accountability
  • Process Improvement & MIS Reporting
    • Identify opportunities to optimize Turn-Around-Time (TAT), accuracy, and cost-efficiency across operations
    • Develop and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports, operational dashboards, and trackers for leadership review
  • Customer Service
    • Handle backend support for customer queries, service requests, grievance redressal, and account statements
    • Implement SOPs for onboarding, servicing, and complaint resolution

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MBA with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in operations
  • Prior experience with NBFCs in the MSME lending space is essential
  • Proven expertise in operations of business loans, loans against property (LAP), equipment loans, and supply chain finance
