As a senior quality assurance automation engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient testing strategies that drive high-quality software releases.

You will work closely with our development and DevOps teams to embed automation into our continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless delivery of features and fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement testing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and microservices testing.
  • Establish and enforce quality gates across the software development life cycle, driving shift-left testing practices.
  • Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless embedding of automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 5-9 years of experience in QA automation and engineering roles, preferably in SaaS-based product companies.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and non-functional testing principles.
  • Excellent communicator with a focus on clear documentation, collaboration, and cross-team alignment.
  • Passion for enhancing speed, quality, and reliability within a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Experience with Selenium (WebDrivers, XPath, CSS Selectors), UI & API automation, and building frameworks from scratch.
  • Deep knowledge of STLC, test management, coverage strategy, and release processes.
  • Skilled in exploratory and manual testing for edge cases and usability.
  • Clear, structured thinker with the ability to explain complex technical problems effectively.
  • Strong sense of ownership, mentoring ability, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
