About the Role

As a software development engineer in test (SDET), you will be working closely with our team to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python/Java and Selenium WebDriver.

Key responsibilities include automating functional, regression, API, and integration test cases. You will also collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline.

Additionally, you will ensure testing is aligned with Agile/DevOps principles and shift-left testing strategies. Conducting performance, compatibility, and reliability testing will also be part of your duties.

Furthermore, you will write and review test plans, test cases, and test scripts for coverage and traceability. Supporting DevOps testing by automating infrastructure validation, smoke testing in cloud deployments, and monitoring pipelines is another key responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Python (mandatory) and working knowledge of Java.
  • Automation: Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Pytest, or Robot Framework.
  • Web API Testing: Experience with RESTful/SOAP APIs, using Postman, Rest Assured, or Python libraries.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab experience is essential.
  • Database Testing: Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
  • Agile Practices: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
