Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive team leader to oversee a team of analysts supporting commercial real estate lending operations.

  • Manage day-to-day delivery, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and manage client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management & Delivery:

  • Lead and mentor analysts processing loan applications, credit documentation, and portfolio management.
  • Ensure delivery in line with SLAs/KPIs with high accuracy.
  • Track, review, and report team performance; conduct regular feedback and coaching.

Operational Excellence:

  • Enforce adherence to lending policy, standards, and criteria.
  • Review and approve credit papers/documentation prior to submission.
  • Support the use of front-end systems to monitor loan applications through approval.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the single point of contact for client stakeholders.
  • Manage escalations, provide operational updates, and lead process alignment discussions.
  • Facilitate transparent communication between teams.

Compliance & Risk:

  • Oversee collaboration with KYC and financial crime teams for onboarding/fraud cases.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and client-specific policies.

Process Improvement & Reporting:

  • Identify and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and insights for senior leadership.

Candidate Profile:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or financial services.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and working with international clients.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial lending, credit documentation, and compliance.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient in banking systems, reporting, and MS Office tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent leadership and team management skills. A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is also required.
