Job Opportunity:

Risk Analyst – A Crucial Role in Shaping Business Strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Modelling and Strategy Development: Design, implement, and monitor credit risk models & associated frameworks in an unsecured rural/semi-urban lending context.
  • Credit Risk Management: Implement and oversee credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle-acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell, & collections.
  • Portfolio Analysis: Regularly review portfolio on various risk metrics for early warning signals and analyze portfolio trends to track portfolio quality on accepted risk parameters.
  • Risk Policy Enhancement: Ensure timely review and updation of risk policies to reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite.
  • Industry Insights: Analyze industry data, prepare MIS/Dashboards, and inform senior management on changing market conditions.
  • Process Optimisation: Regular review of processes for adherence to risk policies and ensure effective controls are in place.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with various internal teams to strengthen the risk framework.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: BTech or MTech from a reputable Tier 1 institution.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a NBFC/Fintech/Lending organisation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL is mandatory. Excellent understanding of data & ability to derive insights. Strong knowledge of statistical models. Experience in Microfinance/MSME Lending will be advantageous.
