Electrical Design Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development of Electrical Systems: Develop electrical system designs that meet the required standards and specifications, including power distribution, lighting, control circuits, and panel design.
  • Collaboration with Project Teams: Collaborate with lead engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and constraints, and integrate electrical systems with mechanical, structural, and architectural designs.
  • Project Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, design calculations, and supporting documentation for the electrical systems, and maintain organized records of design revisions, approvals, and communications with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Electrical Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, control circuits, and panel design, and familiarity with electrical system protection, grounding, and circuit breaker coordination.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar design tools, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to solve complex electrical design challenges and provide practical solutions, and ability to perform load calculations, fault analysis, and system optimization.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
