Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our sales team in a Business Development Manager role. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about building relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience in banking/NBFC and a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. They should be fluent in giving presentations to top-level management, skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams, and able to think strategically to drive business origination.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for market scanning, new client acquisition, revenue growth, existing clients' retention, and relationship-building. Key responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, understanding customers' financial and business needs, providing lending solutions, liaising with intermediaries, sourcing and closing deals, developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and collaborating with internal teams.

This role requires a strong ability to analyze complex business problems, develop innovative solutions, and drive results-oriented initiatives. The successful candidate will have a passion for conceptualizing and building products for enterprise clients and vendors in the supply chain finance paradigm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect business opportunities in the given market
  • Reach out to clients and associates across the given markets
  • Understand customers' financial and business needs and provide lending solutions
  • Liaise with intermediaries to generate leads
  • Sourcing and closure of deals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders (up to C-level)
  • Collaborate with internal teams for approval and disbursal processes
  • Post-disbursal monitoring of borrower companies
  • Overall responsibility for disbursal targets and revenue growth

Requirements:

  • 2-8 years of relevant experience in banking/NBFC
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product
  • Fluent in giving presentations to top-level management
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to think strategically and independently drive business origination
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing education background preferred
