Senior Banking Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Banking Professional to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in building and nurturing relationships with high-growth technology companies in India.

Your primary focus will be on delivering comprehensive banking solutions, including commercial banking, investment banking, and asset management services. You will work closely with various lines of business to identify new product growth areas and establish new client relationships with Founders and Venture Capital Firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop strong relationships with Corporate Banking clients in sectors such as Internet, Digital Media, Software, Emerging Technologies, E-Commerce, and FinTech.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the Innovation Economy Team.
  • Develop forward-looking business plans for clients and maintain existing business relationships.
  • Market Investment Banking products like FX, flow derivatives, and commodities, as well as non-Investment Banking products such as traditional credit, trade finance, and treasury services.
  • Foster collaboration with Investment Banking Technology coverage teams and Client Executives on client coverage efforts.
  • Work with Credit teams on risk profiling of portfolio clients and prospects.
  • Partner with Compliance and Risk teams on regulations applicable to FinTech.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Proven ability to build and develop client relationships, recruit a team, win new business, and close transactions.
  • Solid knowledge of the Technology Industry, focusing on Innovation Economy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of local regulatory guidelines applicable to the FinTech industry.
  • Demonstrated credit knowledge, preferably with experience in credit or debt capital markets.
  • Solid knowledge of commercial banking products.
