Job Title: Portfolio Banking Leader
About the RoleThis is a leadership position in commercial banking where you will oversee lending activities for a wholesale banking business and geographic market.
As a portfolio banking leader, you will be responsible for leading complex initiatives including cross-functional projects with broad impact.
You will act as a key participant in overseeing lending activities and make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
The role also involves collaborating and consulting with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 5+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience
- Responsible for performing financial analysis, calculating financial covenants, calculating yield, performing industry analysis, and preparing the financing memorandum.
- Independent handling of complex deals and response to large and complex issues.
- Comprehensive product and industry knowledge and ability to analyze complex companies and industries.
- Credit analysis skills including assigning credit rating for portfolios and underwriting.
- Excellent communication and business writing skills.
