Job Title

Drive the successful implementation of IT applications to enhance academic and administrative operations.

  • Ensure seamless integration, security, and innovation in technology solutions that support faculty, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities

Application Management & Operations:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise applications (deployment, configuration, upgrades, integration, performance optimization).
  • Oversee high availability, reliability, and security of all academic and administrative applications.
  • Manage issue resolution, incident management, and root cause analysis for application-related problems.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with academic leaders and administrative heads to understand requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.
  • Act as primary liaison with application vendors and service providers.
  • Lead user adoption initiatives, including training and support.

Strategic Planning & Governance:

  • Define and execute application roadmap in alignment with institutional digital transformation goals.
  • Establish governance standards, documentation, and compliance with IT policies.
  • Recommend and implement innovative technology solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and operations.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management:

  • Lead and mentor application support team at campus level.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts/SLAs, and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Promote culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Integration & Data Management:

  • Drive seamless integration of CRM, SIS, LMS, ERP, HRMS, and other systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.
  • Maintain compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and higher education regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Around 15 years progressive experience in IT application management, ideally in higher education or large enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in managing Salesforce CRM, ERP (Finance & HR), SIS, LMS, Library Management, and related systems.
  • Strong experience in application integration, vendor management, and IT governance.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation best practices.
