We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on process design, simulation, documentation, and commissioning efforts.

  • Develop and optimize flow chemistry and batch processes for scale-up and commercial manufacturing. Key considerations include heat and mass balance, reaction kinetics, equipment sizing, pressure drop, mixing, and scale-up parameters.
  • Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Support process safety assessments (HAZOP, risk analysis, safety studies) to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for continuous manufacturing and flow chemistry applications.
  • Evaluate new technologies and propose solutions to improve process efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of experience in process design engineering within the pharmaceutical/chemical industry.
  • Hands-on expertise in flow chemistry and batch process design.
  • Strong knowledge of process design tools and calculations.
  • Experience in preparing and interpreting BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs.
  • Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, ChemCAD, or equivalent).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of process safety (HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA) is desirable.
