IT Business Continuity Specialist

A key objective for this role is to support the organisation's IT Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management process, with a focus on ensuring critical services and work processes can be resumed within agreed service levels.
Responsibilities- Develop Business Continuity Strategies: Develops and implements business recovery plans and procedures; reviews, revises, and expands existing strategies and protocols.
- Maintain Enterprise DR Plans: Develops, maintains, and implements Enterprise Disaster Recovery Plans, risk assessments, and technical strategies in collaboration with other teams.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conducts risk assessments for various departments and functions, analysing potential business impacts of unpredictable events such as natural disasters, security breaches, legal claims, and market disruptions.
- Align IT Priorities: Drives alignment of IT organisation priorities and plans with key business objectives.
- Implement Recovery Operations: Identifies, troubleshoots, and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the organisation to function at limited or partial capacity in the event of infrastructure damage or destruction.
Essential skills include experience with cutover tools. Required experience range - 5 to 9 years.
