Oracle Database Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle database administrator to lead our team of professionals. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and performance of our Oracle databases.

About the Role

  • Expert-level understanding of Oracle database architecture is crucial for this position.
  • You should have experience working with diverse teams to resolve performance issues, including development, storage administrators, network administrators, system administrators, and business users.
  • Specialized knowledge of Oracle RAC, including its complexity across servers, OS, network, and storage layers.
  • Experience working on Oracle Engineered systems, such as Exadata, SSC box, and ExaCM.
  • Skill in SQL tuning and experience refactoring SQL queries to improve performance.
  • Ability to diagnose performance issues from SQL to application to database to system to storage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to traverse infrastructure layers to diagnose issues.
  • Expertise in HA features of Oracle database.
  • Complete understanding of Oracle database backup recovery options.
  • Able to work under pressure in production environments on databases across various OS flavors.

Key Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
  • Prior experience working in Telecom or BFSI industries.
  • Mandatory skills include RAC (installation, upgradation, and management), database backup and recovery, and DB migration and performance tuning.
