Database Administrator

Our company requires an experienced database administrator with skills in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2, Supply Chain, Financials, and other related areas. The ideal candidate should be able to design and implement databases, ensure database security, and perform troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

  • Installation, Configuration, and Upgrades:
  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle server software and related products.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance:
  • Monitor application-related products like OACore, OAFM, Apache, etc.
  • Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain database security.
  • Database Design and Implementation:
  • Design and implement databases for efficient performance.
  • Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support when required.
  • Perform general technical troubleshooting and provide consultation to development teams.
  • Interface with Oracle Corporation:
  • Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Perform database and application tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Cloning DEV and TEST from PROD environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 through 19c.
  • Knowledge of Exadata and Data Guard.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and Linux scripts.
  • Oracle Access Manager integration with EBS and Demantra (a plus).
  • Wide knowledge of general database skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge in any of the following:
  • DB2
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle GoldenGate
