Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned SOA administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer SOA Administration in a team environment, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Install and configure Oracle Fusion Middleware, specifically the SOA suite, in both Cluster and Standalone environments, maintaining strict adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Configure and administer JDBC Data sources and JMS Queues Topics and Connection factories, guaranteeing efficient data transfer and synchronization across systems.
  • Install and configure Web Logic Servers in a Cluster environment to provide High Availability Load balancing Session replication JDBC Connection Pools Scalability and Fail over support, enhancing overall system reliability and uptime.
  • Manage Disaster Recovery fail-over/fail-back activities, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption to services.
  • Work on LDAP integration with Web Logic 12c Application Server, leveraging expertise in identity management and access control.
  • Analyze and tune JVM heap and GC algorithms, optimizing system performance and reducing latency.
  • Manage Web Logic SSL Certificates, safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining trust relationships with clients.
  • Apply patches for Web Logic Server using O-Patch Utilities, staying up-to-date with the latest security updates and fixes.
  • Troubleshoot Web Logic SOA related issues from Log files incidents diagnostic tests and thread dumps, applying advanced problem-solving skills and analytical techniques.
  • Configure Work Managers in Web Logic 12c to optimize performance of Applications and maintain service-level agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Purge old instances and reclaim unused free space by executing DB queries, streamlining database maintenance and improving efficiency.
  • Automate daily activities using shell scripts and have knowledge on Oracle DB queries related to Web Logic SOA Administration, embracing automation and continuous improvement principles.
  • Have knowledge on Oracle HTTP and Apache web servers, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in a rapidly changing technological landscape.
Requirements:
  • Expert-level experience in SOA administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware, particularly the SOA suite, and ability to work with it in various environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of JDBC Data sources, JMS Queues, Topics, and Connection factories, with hands-on experience in configuring and administering them.
  • Proficiency in Web Logic Server configuration, patch application, and SSL Certificate management, as well as disaster recovery and fail-over/fail-back procedures.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues using log files, incidents, diagnostic tests, and thread dumps.
  • Experience with Work Managers configuration in Web Logic 12c, optimization of application performance, and service-level agreement maintenance.
  • Knowledge of DB query execution, database maintenance, and automation principles, with ability to automate daily activities using shell scripts.
  • Understanding of Oracle HTTP and Apache web servers, as well as their role in the modern web infrastructure.
