Senior Payroll Manager

Job Overview:

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR Operations, Payroll, and compliance, as well as expertise in HRM systems such as Workday/Oracle.

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Manage the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, wages, deductions, and benefits for APAC countries.
  • HR Operations: Develop and implement effective HR processes, identify areas for improvement, and optimize HR systems from hire to retire data management.
  • Tax and Labour Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll laws, tax regulations, labour laws, and company policies.
  • Vendor Management: Optimize vendor services, minimize risks, and ensure delivery according to agreed SLAs and timelines.
  • People Management: Proactively manage available resources to support business-as-usual (BAU) and global HR projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in human resources or related field.
  • 15-20 years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR Operations, Payroll, and compliance.
  • Proven track record of managing teams, preferably 5-10 people, for 5+ years.
  • Proficiency in HRM systems such as Workday/Oracle.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels within the organization, locally and globally.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
