Lead Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Lead Quality Assurance Specialist to drive testing strategy, planning, and execution across complex projects in our agile delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for new and existing systems, ensuring seamless integration with project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
- Identify and resolve blockers by engaging the right stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for APIs, web applications, and backend systems, utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and log defects with clear documentation, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Evaluate testing alignment with agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning and stand-ups to drive project success.
- Validate deployments and sign off on releases with confidence in quality, upholding the highest standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices, driving overall quality excellence within the team.
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong experience with test automation frameworks and tools, as well as CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of cloud-based testing environments, preferably in Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Experience with Postman or similar tools for API testing.
- Familiarity with RESTful web services and modern web application architectures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
