Job Title: IT Risk Assurance Professional

Job Description:

The role of an IT Risk Assurance Professional involves managing audit engagements with a focus on IT risks. This includes evaluating and testing IT General Controls (ITGCs), conducting business and IT process reviews, IT Application Controls tests, Internal Process Evaluations (IPEs), third-party assurance (SOC1&2) and related areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a team of IT audit professionals in evaluating and testing ITGCs, conducting business and IT process reviews, IT Application Controls tests, IPEs, third-party assurance (SOC1&2) and related areas.
  2. Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on specific technology platforms (SAP, Oracle etc.) or industry (Finance, Manufacturing, Retail etc.).
  3. Support leadership in developing the IT Risk Assurance team by coaching, providing technical guidance during audit engagements, ensuring completion of work within tight deadlines, and delivering high-quality audit results consistent with the firm's expectations.
  4. Stay well-versed with the latest technology updates in the field and encourage team members to constantly learn and adapt.
  5. Engage with client senior management in articulating IT audit findings and convincingly present their point of view.
  6. Engage with firm's internal stakeholders on how the findings relating to IT audits have a bearing on financial reporting and internal controls.
  7. Support the firm's quality agenda and ensure zero-defect audits during internal/external quality reviews. Be viewed as a trusted advisor by the team and clients alike.
  8. Establish and strengthen client and internal relationships actively.
  9. Assist leaders in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives.
  10. Identify and escalate potential business opportunities for the firm on existing client engagements.
