Medical Communications Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality scientific materials such as slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, infographics, congress and meeting materials according to client needs with excellent attention to detail.
  • Maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders across therapeutic areas.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, authors, clients, and vendors.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities through workshops, seminars, and trainings to enhance your skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Work closely with client directors to develop ideas and execute effective medical communications initiatives in the digital space.
  • Evaluate all materials for compliance with client requirements, style guides, and internal SOPs.
  • Provide intellectual input across document types and maintain current awareness of developments across therapeutic areas or disciplines.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing.
  • A PhD/MD (Pharmacology) OR PhD (Life Sciences) OR PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • A clear, concise, scientific writing style with a high level of attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • The ability to adapt your writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • A basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
  • A very good working knowledge of MS Office.
