Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in medical and scientific writing, specifically in medico-marketing/marketing communications.

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in medical communications, medical writing, or a related field is required. The candidate must have at least 2+ years of experience as a people manager/team lead.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, including knowledge of clinical trials, drug development, regulatory processes, and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Content Development: Ability to read and understand project briefs, guide content writers and cross-functional teams on scope of work. Research, write, and edit a wide range of medical communication materials, including scientific manuscripts, medical marketing collateral, and educational content.
  2. Create content outlines, storylines, and adapt content to align business/marketing objectives, campaign plans, and communication objectives. Review and proof-read content for quality and accuracy.
  3. Write/adapt/customize content for diverse target audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and regulatory authorities, while maintaining scientific integrity and regulatory compliance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical experts, graphic designers, digital coding experts, project managers, clients, and client servicing teams, to produce cohesive and effective communication materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, pharmacy) is required. Advanced degrees (e.g., PhD) are a plus.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, EndNote, and reference management software).
