The role of a Senior Medical Content Strategist plays a crucial part in our efforts to deliver high-quality communication materials that support our clients' goals. This position requires an individual with a strong background in medical and scientific writing, particularly in medico-marketing/marketing communications.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional who has a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical, life-sciences, medical devices, and healthcare industry. The ideal candidate must be able to read and understand complex information and create clear and engaging content. Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive content strategies across various platforms, including print and digital media. This involves guiding cross-functional teams on scope of work, researching, writing, and editing a wide range of medical communication materials. These may include scientific manuscripts, medical marketing collateral, and educational content.
  • Creating content outlines, storylines, and adapting content to align with business objectives, campaign plans, and communication goals. Ensuring that all content meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, pharmacy) is required. Advanced degrees (e.g., PhD) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in medical communications, medical writing, or a related field and 2+ years as people manager/team lead. This is a must.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, including knowledge of clinical trials, drug development, regulatory processes, and marketing activities.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Ability to edit content for language, grammar, standard styles, referencing styles, etc.
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, EndNote, reference management software, Veeva Vault, Aprimo, etc).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with industry guidelines, including ICH-GCP, PhRMA, and CONSORT, is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work in different time zones (Preferably US & European timezone) is a must.
