Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to lead the implementation of projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely project execution and alignment with project plans.

  • The successful Social Worker will track quality delivery of detailed implementation plans (DIPs) and collaborate with internal teams to secure necessary support for project execution.
  • They will foster community involvement and ownership of project activities for long-term sustainability, aligning project activities with community aspirations and leveraging their strengths to enhance ownership.
  • Maintenance of transparency and accountability in all project activities will benefit the target population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at community, ward, and district levels across private, government, academic, and NGO sectors.
  • Increase project visibility among government and other stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to align stakeholder activities with project goals.
  • Represent the project at meetings, committees, and advocacy forums.

Requirements:

  • A Graduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, or related field is required.
  • 1+ years' experience in program implementation in the social sector.
  • Good understanding of social and environmental concepts and methods.
  • Fluency in English, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
