The role of a Public Relations Executive/Assistant Manager involves developing and implementing effective PR strategies to enhance the organization's reputation and image.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sharing key points from weekly implementation (WIP) calls with the team to ensure seamless communication.
- Providing strategic inputs to close content, including pitch notes, based on business or communication objectives.
- Authoring article content, quarterly reviews, and annual plans based on client briefs to drive high-quality output.
- Leading media outreach for all partners through media intelligence and strategic approaches to foster strong relationships.
- Building and sustaining relationships with 35 journalists, from principal/senior correspondents to editors, within a year to establish a robust network.
- Ensuring that statements of work (SOWs) are met to the letter, allowing for timely remedial actions to maintain quality standards.
- Ensuring error-free reporting, including WIP reports, monthly reports, salient points of WIP calls, and quarterly plans to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Leading weekly implementation (WIP) calls with partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintaining awareness of business objectives and devising PR plans/strategies accordingly to align with organizational goals.
- Ensuring Quality Leadership Alliance (QLA) standards are maintained throughout the contract period to uphold excellence.
- Providing strategic counsel and tactful replies to partners to resolve issues effectively.
- Driving relationship with partner point of contact (POC) and becoming the day-to-day go-to person to foster trust and cooperation.
- Ensuring partner satisfaction does not fall below 8/10 to maintain a positive partnership.
- Fostering solid teamwork and mentoring/train levels below you to promote growth and development.
