This role requires a professional who can manage daily operations, handle administrative tasks, allocate jobs to associates, and ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, ability to problem-solve, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Management of shift: Oversee and coordinate activities during the shift
  • Administrative management of associates: Manage personnel-related tasks such as attendance, performance evaluations, and training needs
  • Job allocation to associates: Assign tasks to associates based on their skills and workloads
  • Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality and safety: Provide guidance and coaching to associates to meet targets and maintain high standards
  • Monitor status of counts and problem solve queues: Identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies and process delays
  • Responsible for shift quality and associated action plans: Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance associate skills and knowledge
  • Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basis: Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Stand-in for Area Manager: Assume responsibility for managing the area in the absence of the designated manager
