Portfolio Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Strategist to support our company's growth objectives.

This role involves researching and analyzing new product opportunities in Emerging Markets, providing insights to inform strategic decisions and support business planning.

  • The ideal candidate will conduct in-depth analysis of secondary market data to understand opportunities available across therapies.
  • Preliminary IP landscaping of products with respect to various patents across the globe is also a crucial part of this role.
  • A strong business case for new products proposed for selection in the portfolio selection meeting will be built and updated by the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new entry channels for the company through in-licensing and other opportunities, in order to drive business growth.
  • Track market updates such as label expansions, competition entry, safety warnings, quarterly sales for innovator brands, API supplier etc. for selected products.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to remain abreast of market trends.
Mandatory Skills:
  • A strong understanding of the IP landscape in pharma across markets is required.
  • Good understanding of pharma regulatory requirements for at least US, EU and Emerging markets is expected.
  • Formulation selection process knowledge, including medical uniqueness, commercial forecast, and fitment with technical capabilities is necessary.
Requirements:
  • M. Pharm/M.Sc Chemistry/MBA degree from a reputable institution.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Portfolio, Strategy and/or IPM.
