Job Description

The role of IT Auditor involves demonstrating proficiency in audit methodologies and guiding team members to achieve high-quality results. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of relevant professional standards, including Schellman's services and methodology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute testing procedures, document results, and suggest improvements to ensure the highest quality work product.\
• Collaborate with fellow project team members to achieve project schedules and objectives.\
• Train project team members and contribute to practice development efforts to enhance our services.\
• Maintain accurate records of time worked and adhere to Schellman's code of ethics and professional conduct.\
• Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with client personnel, promoting Schellman's company culture and values.\
• Perform on-site or remote work as a valuable contributor to a collaborative team.\
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.\
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Schellman's service delivery applications, to effectively communicate and manage projects.\
• Apply full understanding and adherence to ethics, independence, and Schellman's values in all aspects of work.\
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.\
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.\
• Shadow or assess clients for attestation offerings such as HIPAA, AUP, C5, etc., to expand our services.\
• Develop and articulate qualified vs unqualified opinions to support high-quality client service.\
• Review and apply concepts of AS 2.0 Reference Guide and EWP WP Guidance to ensure alignment with industry standards.\
• Support practice development efforts by contributing to marketing materials, presentations, and other communications.\
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant technology and security domains, ensuring expertise in our services.\
• Work independently, within a team, and with clients, traveling ~40-50% (M-Th).\

• Client service oriented, with excellent communication skills.\

• Requisite knowledge of applicable technology and security domains.\

• 2+ years of related professional services experience in information security auditing, assessment, consulting, or compliance, focused on ITGC or SOC controls.\
• Excellent time management, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.\
• Ability to work on-site or remotely as a valuable contributor to a collaborative team.\
• Capable of simultaneously managing assigned tasks for multiple projects.\

Qualifications and Skills
