Job Title: CCTV Operator

About the Role

This position involves safeguarding students, staff members, and property by monitoring CCTV infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, multitasking skills, and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CCTV Equipment: The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of video surveillance equipment, including cameras, NVRs, and recording systems.
  • Maintain Equipment: Regular maintenance and repair of CCTV equipment is crucial for optimal performance.
  • Store Footage: Properly storing and cataloging footage is essential for easy recall and incident investigation.
  • Make Observations: The CCTV Operator must remain focused and observant, documenting any unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Report Incidents: If an illegal activity is observed, the CCTV Operator must promptly contact the authorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Attention to Detail: Must be able to identify small details that others might overlook.

Ability to Multitask: Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus on CCTV monitors.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for statements, reports, and court appearances.
