About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior IT Professional to join our organization. This key member will be responsible for leading and managing IT infrastructure, teams, and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Lead the desktop engineering team to provide end-user support and ensure smooth operation of desktop computing resources.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of systems, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions that align with company objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, developers, desktop engineers, and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and maintain documentation and procedures for audits.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, within schedule and on budget.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and integrate relevant advancements into the company's IT strategy to maintain a competitive edge.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably with expertise in VM environments, network architecture, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, ITIL) are preferred.
