Accounting and Billing Professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to identify outstanding accounts, generate bills, and invoices according to customer requirements.
  • Deliver invoices to clients via digital and traditional services, reconcile all payments with invoices, and receive and sort incoming payments.
  • Manage petty cash, identify inconsistencies in transactions or pricing in ERP, and regularly update receivables specific to customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve problems, submit cash collected to the concerned authority at the end of the day, and reconcile all payments received.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the accounts team, generate monthly and quarterly reports, and present them to the reporting authority.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce
  • Understanding of accounting software/ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
  • Strong computational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, basic understanding of office software and machinery
  • At least one year of experience as a billing executive at a large retail store, knowledge of relevant laws, rules, and regulations, passion for numbers and financial data, and excellent MS Office skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, teamwork, time management, and integrity

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
