Accounting Manager Job Overview
\This is a senior accounting position that involves hands-on application of Ind AS/ IFRS principles and supporting the technical accounting team in setting up policies and procedures.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update accounting policies and manuals across various business units.\
- Assist in monthly and periodic book closure activities with a focus on group reporting.\
- Collaborate with investor's accounting teams on concluding accounting positions and periodic reporting.\
- Support the development and implementation of accounting standards and policies.\
- Provide guidance and training to junior accountants on accounting principles and practices.\
- Contribute to the improvement of financial reporting and internal controls.\
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability.\
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.\
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.\
- Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions.\
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.\
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement financial models and forecasts.\
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.\
- Participate in audit and review processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements.\
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulators.\
- Provide input to business strategy and planning initiatives.\
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.\
- Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent financial irregularities.\
- Develop and lead training programs for employees on financial literacy and best practices.\
- Act as a subject matter expert for financial matters.\
- Represent the organization in financial forums and events.\
- Collaborate with external partners to achieve business objectives.\
- Manage projects and initiatives to improve financial performance.\
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.\
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.\
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.\
Requirements:

- CA with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience.\
- Prior experience in Big 4 firms or listed organizations in technical accounting profiles.\
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, laws, and regulations.\
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.\
- Strong leadership and team management skills.\
- Experience in ESOP is an added advantage.\
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software applications.\
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.\
- Ability to adapt to change and prioritize tasks effectively.\
- Fluent English language skills.\
- Good time management and organizational skills.\
- High level of integrity and ethics.\
