Software Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced software engineering leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing software engineering teams and delivering high-quality software solutions.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team of engineers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and experience with version control systems such as Git.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage software engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Collaborate with senior management to align technology goals with business objectives
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in IBM OpenPages (8.3.x and later)
  • Extensive experience in the GRC domain
  • Strong experience with TFUI, workflows, configuration, views, calculations, security, triggers, helpers, APIs, AFCON, object models, integration, etc.
  • Proven experience in designing and architecting solutions on IBM OpenPages and Cognos Framework
  • Proficient in Java to support IBM OpenPages APIs and able to mentor the team
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and processes
  • Experience with Python language
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction at all levels
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of IBM OpenPages version upgrades and migrations
  • Strong background working with the Java / J2EE
  • Python language development
  • Devops with CI/CD experience
  • Data integration with SQL and Informatica
  • Exposure to batch scripting, and Windows environments
  • Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • IBM OpenPages developer certification
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Creative approach to problem-solving, innovation, and issue resolution
