Job Title: Sr QA Automation EngineerWe are seeking a skilled software engineer to deliver high-quality automation solutions for the Enterprise TruRisk Platform.The ideal candidate will design, implement and maintain testing frameworks for core product capabilities using micro-services and Big Data based components.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team building next-generation platform using Big Data & Micro-Services technology to process over billions of transactions per day.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead automation efforts to achieve maximum coverage.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java (Selenium) and automate big data workflows such as ingestion, aggregation, ETL processing, etc.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues within the big data ecosystem.
  • Set up and configure the Big Data platform and Hadoop ecosystem for testing.
  • Define test strategies and write test plans for data platform enhancements and new features/services built on it.
  • Establish operating procedures, service monitors, and alerts and work with the NOC team to implement them.
  • Conduct system and performance testing of the data platform and applications.
  • Solve complex engineering project problems and provide technical consultation in the design, development, and test effort.
  • Review product specifications and write test cases, develop test plans for assigned areas.
  • Identify technical interdependencies and suggest possible solutions.
  • Test big data ingestion and aggregation flows using Spark Shell and related queries.
  • Automate end-to-end workflows using a framework.
  • Contribute to Test Automation Development and Enhancement.
  • Recreate complex customer and production reported issues to determine root cause and verify fixes.
  • Maintain an automation-first attitude to reduce regression manual cycles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proficiency in Java, Selenium, and Big Data technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
