Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products.

This position will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts for web, API, and backend systems. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure seamless releases and actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing automated test frameworks and scripts for web, API, and backend systems
  • Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
  • Performing end-to-end testing, integration testing, and regression testing using automation tools
  • Creating detailed bug reports and tracking issues to resolution
  • Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
  • Analyzing test results, identifying trends in quality issues, and recommending improvements

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Experience with automation frameworks, scripting languages, and CI/CD tools is essential. Additionally, you should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • 5+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing
  • Proficient in at least one automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
