Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We're seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies, test plans, and test cases. You will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues, and ensuring that software products meet the required quality standards.

  • Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software products on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including black box, white box, and grey box testing
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and other testing documentation
  • Identify and report defects to development teams, providing clear and concise documentation of issues found
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and ensure timely delivery of software products

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 10 to 18 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field, with a BS or MS degree
  • Expertise in standard TCP/IP protocols such as ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP & IPSec VPNs
  • Expertise in testing of Layer 2/3 networking, routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF & EIGRP, MPLS, IPSec, QoS, NAT, and policies etc.
  • Expertise in system, solution, scale, performance, interoperability, and failover testing of SD-WAN solutions
  • Ability to build and maintain complex test environments and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset
